We are delighted to welcome you to the Sapling Class, part of the vibrant and nurturing tribe at Tintagel Primary School. 

Our nursery welcomes children aged 2 to 4 years and provides a warm and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to be curious, courageous and kind.

Tintagel Nursery is an integral part of the school, working closely within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We offer a rich and varied curriculum designed to spark curiosity, develop confidence and lay the foundations for lifelong learning.

Our nursery has its own dedicated, purpose-built building, specially designed for younger children. It’s a safe and stimulating space led by experienced, caring and well-qualified staff who support every child’s development.

Being part of the wider school community means we also benefit from access to the beautiful school grounds, library and even enjoy lunchtime in the main school dining hall. These shared experiences help to build confidence, familiarity and ease the transition into primary school life.

We also take part in whole-school events, including special moments like our own Christmas performance, a magical opportunity for our youngest learners to shine.

At Tintagel Nursery, we celebrate the unique ideas, interests and cultural backgrounds of all our children. We encourage exploration, creativity and communication, helping each child build a strong sense of self and a love of learning.
