World Book Day takes place on the 4th March and this year more than any other, we have felt the need to mark the moment and share the passion for children’s literature, which is so much a mark of our school. This year we will be celebrating the best of children’s literature with a school and community project entitled: ‘Books – Our Windows into Other Worlds’.
We would like you to select a favourite book and represent it in a window display using objects, characters and clues from the setting but very importantly…please do not include a picture of the book cover!
Once we have a number of window entries, we will compile a competition sheet and children will be able to use the clues to match the mystery window to a book. The closing date for all photos will be on Wednesday 3rd March.
