Tintagel Primary School currently take admissions from children from reception through to Year 6.
We are fortunate enough to have the capacity to increase our intake and are currently investigating the potential of adding a nursery setting for rising 3’s, 3 year olds and 4 year olds. The aim of this move is to provide greater educational opportunities for our children with an enhanced transition between the nursery and the school. We also envisage that this will have additional benefits from feeling part of our school community from a younger age and will provide greater consistency for our parents and families.
We would like your feedback on this proposal in advance of us submitting an application to the Department of Education to change our funding agreement to cover the ages of 2-11 years.
A four-week consultation process to amend our funding agreement to 2-11 starts on Wednesday 1st March 2023 and ends on Wednesday 29th March 2023. We invite you to request a phone call or a meeting if you would like to discuss these proposed changes.
